Made it to DTW all loaded up in business class! Frankfurt here we come!
Not bad for a couple of blokes from American Air Academy!

Day 1

January 13, 2014
Day 1:

Travel day: Salt Lake City-Detroit-Frankfurt-and drive nonstop for 7 hours to Seiser Alm, Italy. The Atlanta flight, the original plan with a much shorter drive was all non-reved out so we had to go to plan B fly into Frankfurt via Detroit which means only an 8 hour drive vs. a  hour drive.

(Seiser Alm, is the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. Located in northern Italy in the Dolomites mountain range, it is a major tourist attraction, known for skiing and hiking.
